  This use to be Arron's @ the Lodge but Arron the chef has left this restaurant and it's not all that great. His food was expensive but totally worth it! And he would come out and say Hi. The prices are still very high but the quality is way down. I ordered a small steak and it was just gray/brown looking and had no flavor. The servers was odd too. younger, high school looking kids working that didn't seem to have much experience. We had to keep asking for things over and over and they would forget to bring them out. My daughter ordered a chicken breast. They knew it was for a kids but when they brought it out had been cooked with cracked pepper. It was way too spicy for her to even eat. Had to send it back and reorder. Even the B&B we stayed at said everyone in town is disgusted with this places high prices & poor quality. Unfortunately there isn't much else in town for dinner unless you can catch the nights the White Mountain Fountain is serving dinner (Thur-Sat?). I had high hopes for desert but they only had a few options and the one thing I wanted they didn't have. If you want a nice dinner go to Cafe Maddalena in Dunsmuir (20 mins. down the road) pricey but super food! Try the fruit tart!!

  This restaurant is by far the best restaurant in siskiyou county. Their breakfast is excellent, and their dinners are out of this world. Dispute its remote location you won't be disappointed. They have a full bar, outside dinning, and a picture perfect view of MT. Shasta. Put this restaurant on your to do list of places to visit.
